Six Happiness in Cleveland

Six Happiness has been our favorite Chinese food spot in Cleveland for a few years now. It has great food for an affordable price.

Delicious food, prompt service and great servers. Highly recommend. Prices are good for the amount of food you get...which is a lot!

These folks work very hard during the pandemic, protecting themselves, their employees and their customers. I visited and ordered from this restaurant several times, before and during Covid-19 event. All of their food are perfectly cooked, steamed and fried. I especially love their Tom yam and tomkha soups as well as their curry dishes. I had massaman curry shrimps. They are well seasoned and wonderfully tasteful which I do not have heavy feeling afterwards but a complete satiated and calming euphoria. My oldest daughter is an especially picky eater since when she was a premature baby and these folks never failed to help me ensure that my daughter get her fills of healthy protein and veggies. Thank you to all at Six Happiness for all your hard work and dedication in taking care of the community! We appreciate you!

I’ve been to this restaurant many occasions with my husband before the quarantine and always had exceptional service, But I finally placed my first phone order and the owner was extremely rude over the phone. I told her I was reading the menu as I want to find something suitable for my children that they would enjoy, she stopped me mid sentence and said I got to go! That she had a customer, which I understood it gave me a couple second to skim the menu before she calls me back and says now are you ready? In such a hastily tone. Yeah I can’t help but wonder how many other people she has lost patience on? Definitely won’t be returning anymore. Rudeness doesn’t get you far.. I don’t care for the price increase.. if it’s good food! But rudeness isn’t pleasant.

Used to be a good restaurant. It was one of my favorite. Don’t try it unless you want to find out why state ratings are failing. Have cut serving sizes in half and have specials that they tell you only one per table after you get your check. Used to get an egg roll with you meal. Not now!!! Waitress was rude.

will never go there again. Have eaten Chinese all over this country and they couldn't make a simple dish.

They have the best food! Love the way they close one day a week for family time. That's so important.

Lady is nice but took twenty minutes to get the house special

Probably the best quick Chinese I have ever had. The General Tso was fresh real thick cuts of chicken and the Hibachi Chicken was fresh made and perfectly flavored. Can't wait to go back.

So im back! Six happiness is one of my old time favorite places here in cleveland TN. As I walked through the door we were regognized as Friends..not forgotten. Tiffanny always makes u feel so welcome remembers everything we say and remembers my kids ages and their likes and dislikes and we always swap pics of our kiddos. This time around we had the luch specials; yellow curry tofu, beef and broccoli which were delicioso!!!! The sweet tea is pretty amazing, sweet and very Southern style. Honestly, I dare to say yet again THE BEST CHINESSE FOOD DEAL IN TOWN!

Yamato in Athens, TN is 100 times better! In my opinion, not worth the money. I gave it 2 stars because you do get quite a bit of food. It's descent, just not the best.

The restaurant was clean and the servers were extremely helpful. Food portions were generous but I was less than pleased with the qualify. I do plan on returning just in case the cook was having an off day but if things don't improve, that will be my last visit.

Have always gotten our food to go, and it was always good. Decided to stop in and eat there. The food was hot, it was fresh, the service was top notch. Glass was never empty. The waitress was super friendly. Definitely will be going back....

Orange chicken is always Great Here!

While I do have personal reason why I could rate this place even lower I will keep it to the food. Use to be a favorite but recently change in cooks has proven to be their downfall with me. Seems the main cook left and now the owner's mom fills in. The food hasn't been consistent in weeks, either bland or too spicy. I have become very unhappy so will not go back for several reasons.And I will add a place of business where people come to eat is not the place to allow your 3 children to run around being a distraction. Or they sit in a back booth being noisy.

Placed a delivery order then called to fix something woman was very rude didn't and answered with hello thats it very rushed n rude

This is my favorite Asian restaurant in town. Despite trying the General Tso's Tofu at many restaurants in many areas, I have yet to find one that is even three-quarters as good as the one prepared at this restaurant. For that reason, I plan on continuing to frequent Six Happiness whenever the craving for quality Asian cuisine hits. Definitely try this place out if you are in the Cleveland area!

Worst food I've ever eaten. I think a dead cat on the side of the road would have tasted better.

Love love loved it! We stopped for lunch on Saturday and chose off the healthy option menu. Fresh, delicious and the sauces made the dish yummy! The hot and sour soup was fantastic! Thanks!

We sat at the table Friday evening while waiting for drinks, and listened to a pickup order customer complaining about her order of Fried rice. At 1st I thought the customer was being petty, but this place doesn't put egg in their Fried rice, but said if customer requests it, they will. She did not tell that customer, nor all at my table that its $1.00 to add 1 egg to the Fried rice. Seems like she was having a bad day, very short with all walking and dining customers. Customer service and appreciation could use some polishing.

Server had a hard time smiling, or saying you’re welcome, or being courteous at all. She made excuses for the roach on the wall by my head (had to move to a different table) instead of apologizing or comping the meal. Food was okay, about the same as similar places in town. Serving size was adequate without being overwhelming. Might be back, might not.

Wonderful food, great atmosphere. Didn't wait too long for our food. Good place to just sit down and eat.

These folks are incredibly nice and the food is delicious. They have a big menu with Chinese and Japanese food. My family and I came in to place and order to go that was within an hour of their closing time and they had it to us in less than 10 minutes. My three-year-old loved their fish tank which kept him occupied for the short amount of time we waited. We will be going back for sure.

This restaurant has good food but manager or owner is never pleasant and this visit was the worse. She seemed to be in a terrible mood and very unpleasant. Even though I like the food probably will seek other places for the same type of food

We recently moved near here, and knew if the food was good, we would be a frequent customer. I can happily assure you that it is very good! We did takeout tonight and it was still steaming hot when we got home.

It wasn't to bad but the chicken could use some more seasoning but was ok considering

The best thing I can say is that the vegetables were nicely done. But the sauce were bland and every though they were supposed to be very different dishes, the sauce used was the same. Definitely would not recommend.

Took my adult kids out for dinner and we decided to try this sweet little restaurant in Cleveland which is situated by many choices of casual restaurants. The outside isn’t very inviting, kinda plain and the inside is small but intimate and very “authentic “. Service was great even though it was obvious she could use help, there were five other tables at various stages in meal. We ordered an appetizer of dumplings which were very good, we all got a different meal and I got king pao chicken. My meal was hot, delicious and the portion sizes offered us all lunch the next day. Very reasonable and I would gladly eat there again.

The coconut shrimp and chicken have a delicious sauce. The service I had the last time will make me not go back. The chicken had way too much batter on it and the server seemed to take the stress of her day out on me when I politely just returned the food. She argued with me about it and was very disrespectful to other people in my group. She would ignore people’s questions and walked away mumbling after arguing with me.

Original Zomato Review 5/25/16 - I cannot say anything bad about Six Happiness. We ordered the spring rolls which were perfect - I haven't eaten any as good as Lek's Railroad Thai (Montgomery).My meal consisted of the hibachi chicken - I've been looking for a good plate of hibachi after my favorite joint (Toyoma) closed in Farragut. The ginger salad was awesome - the dressing was smooth, creamy, and had a bit of tangy sweetness. The hibachi was spot on (only thing missing was sweet carrots), but definitely a stop the next trip. And, the shrimp sauce was one of the better ones I've eaten while dining out.Service was a little slow, but who cares when the food is so good!

Yes, excellent choice. They season the food well. Everything cooked fresh. Rare nowadays. I wish the egg drop soup was less thick, and more brothy. Had texture of a jellyfish. Otherwise a great find.

Good variety of cuisine. I had Chinese but I like other places in town better for that.

Placed a to go order. Called my order in and was greeted, on the phone, by a very rude woman. She acted very put out that she had to take my order. I was told it would take 30 mins. Arrived to pick up our order and they could not locate it. My husband had to call me to find out what I had ordered. They finally located our order and he had to wait an additional 20 minutes for them to make it. This was a $65 order. You woould think this place would do better. We have ordered before and they never seem to have the food ready. Also, they always leave something out. That was the last time they will get our business. If you want a to go order, be sure and give them plenty of time and be sure and double check it before you leave. With all the Asian Food places out there, you would think they would try a little harder.

Went in to order for take out and the server was not helpful and rude. She dismissed my request for clarity on menu options to serve the next person. I do not need to spend my dollars on a service so bare.

We are traveling through and were looking for something a little different for dinner something more than a fast food restaurant. We saw the good reviews, stopped in. A recommendation by the waitress was the Hibachi chicken and shrimp, over vegetables which was delicious and cooked perfectly we added water chestnuts had two egg rolls and the garden salad with ginger dressing and it was just what we were looking for exceptionally done!

The food was amazing and delicious. I will be back. I tried the Sesame shrimp.

Best hibachi and the price is great!

Not sure why there are any low ratings Because this place is one the best Chinese joints in Cleveland! The crabragoon is one the best I’ve had and service was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

I it was possible to rate someone worth zero stars, this would be the place. Disrespectful, rude and absolutely disgusting language.

The food is usually pretty good, but the service is horrible. The lady that runs the dining room/ takes phone orders is very rude. They close at 10, my wife called and ordered a little after 9, the lady insisted that if my wife wasn't on her way now, that she wouldn't take her order. So my wife ordered on her way out the door, and paid over the phone to help expedite the experience. When she arrived, a bag of food was shoved into her hand and she was rushed out the door, which was promptly locked behind her. My wife inspected the bag and saw that the 4 cups of white sauce she ordered was not included in the bag. She knocked on the door to get the womans attention, but she was rudely ignored. We will not be ordering from them again. For as much as the food costs, I would expect better service.

Out of all he hibachi and chinese places in own this is my go to! The difference between their hibachi and others is they give a huge bowl op soup and an egg roll too!

Wonderful food and clean

Excellent customer service, clean, super affordable and delicious. A lot of vegan options.

My family loves it for dining in and apparently a lot of people love it for takeout
